Rick Rossi is a three time Grammy nominated musician and Grammy Award winner, taking home a win in 2000. Known for his distinctive style, versatility, and high level musicianship, Rick has remained in demand for studio recording, live performance, composing, and arranging throughout his career.
He has composed and arranged music for film and television and has appeared numerous times on national television, including Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Late Show with David Letterman, The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, Conan O’Brien, MTV, BET, and VH1. He was also featured on the Grammy Award winning, multi platinum album The Dirty Boogie.
Rick has performed at many of the world’s most recognized venues with legendary artists such as Frank Sinatra, Natalie Cole, Tony Bennett, Bobby Caldwell, Cher, and Shakira. His credits also include performing with notable jazz band leaders and icons such as Buddy Rich, Mel Lewis, Tommy Dorsey, Gerry Mulligan, Stanley Clarke, and many respected smooth jazz artists.
His film work includes credits on major Hollywood releases such as The Wedding Crashers, Monster In Law, Accepted, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
The Los Angeles Jazz Band features some of the finest musicians on the West Coast, with collective credits that are far too extensive to fully list. Together, these artists have appeared on hundreds of popular recordings and have performed both live and in the studio with an extraordinary range of major artists, including Pink, James Ingram, Josh Groban, Coolio, Whitney Houston, Madonna, Jeffrey Osborne, Nancy Wilson, Jewel, Diane Schuur, Michael Bolton, Stevie Wonder, Toni Braxton, Bob Berg, Stanley Turrentine, En Vogue, Tom Jones, The Brian Setzer Orchestra, Stanley Clarke, and Chaka Khan.
